FACIAL FILLERS & NON-SURGICAL FACE LIFT

FACIAL FILLER BASICS

The procedure called a wrinkle filler, or facial filler, as it is known in the industry, is the general name given to any procedure that uses injections to fill out the wrinkles in a patient’s face. They can be used on the following areas:

  • Worry lines in forehead
  • Glabellar lines between the eyebrows
  • Smile lines (adjacent to the mouth)
  • Nasolabial folds (laugh lines, from nose to mouth)
  • Perorbital lines (crow’s feet)

Facial fillers can also be used to plump the lips. At Linea, we use several different kinds of dermal fillers, depending on the severity of the problem, your skin tone and elasticity, your medical history and other factors.

Come in for a FREE consultation; we’ll be happy to discuss your options and recommend which dermal filler procedure is right for you.

  • Blindness
  • Skin Necrosis

GETTING READY FOR THE PROCEDURE

Your skin will be evaluated to determine the areas in need of augmentation.

PROCEDURE DAY

Areas of the face may be marked prior to the injections. However, the marks will be removed at the end of the procedure.

THE PROCEDURE

Injections only take a few minutes per site. However, a procedure may take anywhere between 15 minutes to an hour depending on how many injections you get.

AFTER THE PROCEDURE

Following the injections, you may be provided with an ice pack to reduce swelling. However, facial fillers usually are not painful enough to require medication.
